i'm misunderstood as i always am
taken for granted for the millionth time
and i ask myself over and over again
but guess i'll never figure out why
perhaps it's easier for the rest
to take me for a hell ride and dump me in the middle of nowhere
someday perhaps i'll see the light
it might not shine bright but i'm sure i'll see it someday soon
